BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police are looking for the gunman in a double shooting in the neighborhood Friday evening, police and fire officials said.
Two people were shot at 797 Putnam Ave. at Malcolm X Boulevard around 5:40 p.m., police said.
Both victims were taken to Kings County Hospital Center in serious condition, according to the FDNY.
"It would not be the first time I've heard gunshots on this block," said Greg Basta, 35, who lives near where the shooting happened.
"It's terrible," Basta said.
Police had not made any arrests as of Friday evening.
