BATTERY PARK CITY  —  A shish-kebab vendor near the World Trade Center was robbed at knifepoint last week, police said.

Police said the 48-year-old vendor, whose cart sits at the northwest corner of Liberty and West streets, across the street from the WTC complex, was approached by four men at about 6 p.m. on Nov. 4, police said.

While wielding a knife, one man told the vendor: "If you do not move from here I will kill you." He then "struck" the victim with the knife, police said.

It was unclear if the victim was cut by the knife.

The four men then ran off with an "unknown" amount of money, police said.

The food cart was not at its corner Tuesday.

Police were still investigating the incident.
