CONCOURSE — Police are searching for two suspects in the shooting of two men inside a Bronx deli Monday evening, said police and witnesses.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the torso and another 18-year-old man was hit in the leg inside 292 E. 166th St. around 5:30 p.m. Monday, police said.

The two male suspects were seen running south on College Avenue after the shooting, according to the NYPD.

"Nobody was arguing, nobody was fighting" said a 40-year-old woman who declined to give her name. She lives in the neighborhood and was in the store with some neighborhood children when she heard a gun fire three times.

"I hear the gunshots and ran to the back of the store," she said. "I was trying to get every one to get down."

The woman told DNAinfo New York that she put pressure on the wounds of the victims, who were both from the neighborhood, while waiting for an ambulance.

Both victims were taken to Lincoln Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to the NYPD.

Anyone with information in regards to this missing is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
