QUEENS — A 19-year-old college student was robbed of his cellphone and money in Rego Park in September, police said Friday.

The man was approached by three suspects on Monday, Sept. 7, shortly after midnight, at the intersection of Booth Street and 67th Avenue, in a quiet, residential portion of the neighborhood.

The suspects demanded his cellphone and other property, stealing his phone, learner's permit, college ID and $37, before fleeing, police said.

The victim was not hurt, police said.

Police have released descriptions and surveillance photos of the three suspects.

One of them was described as being approximately 23 years-old, 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11, with a tattoo on his left arm. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The suspect was riding a bicycle, according to the NYPD.

The second suspect was described as being a man in his 20s, approximately 5-foot-9. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with the number 10 on the sleeve and red shorts.

Authorities described the third suspect as being 19 to 20 years-old, approximately 5-foot-7. He was last seen wearing a gray polo short sleeve shirt and blue jeans, police said.
