LOWER EAST SIDE — A cab driver taking a 19-year-old girl home from a night out groped her and stole her phone, then told her they “should go out sometimes,” police said.

The driver, who has not been arrested, picked up the young woman and a friend in Midtown on Nov. 1 after a night out drinking, police said.

As he drove the victim home to her Rivington Street apartment, the woman began to feel sick and the driver encouraged her to throw up, stopping the cab in front of her building to help her vomit, police said.

The driver then grabbed her chest, according to the NYPD, and the woman pushed him away and got out of the cab.

The victim later realized her iPhone 5 was missing and tried to find it, police said. When she dialed her number, the driver picked up the phone and said they “should go out sometimes,” according to the NYPD.

The driver was described as a 40-year-old man with short, black hair and weighing 180 pounds, police said.
