
LOWER EAST SIDE — Don't worry, you can still have what she’s having.
An electrical fire broke out in the basement of Katz’s Delicatessen Wednesday afternoon, but was quickly brought under control, according to the fire department.
Con Edison was investigating the scene Wednesday evening to make sure all the wires were still kosher.
The blaze happened at about 4:12 p.m. and was under control by 4:40 p.m., a fire official said.
There were no reports of injuries and customers were back to enjoying pastrami sandwiches by 5 p.m.
