LONG ISLAND CITY — Police are looking for a man who stole an electric drum kit module worth more than $2,000 from a music store in Queens last month.

The suspect walked into the Guitar Center on 48th Street and Northern Boulevard at roughly 3 p.m. on Oct. 2 and snuck out with the pricey device, according to the NYPD.

The module — a device that's used with an electronic drum kit to provide additional sounds, according to Guitar Center's website — was made by the manufacturer Roland, a police spokeswoman said.

The suspect is described as in his 30s, standing roughly 6-foot-3 and weighing 270 pounds, according to police.

He was captured on surveillance video talking on a cellphone and wearing jeans, a blue sweatshirt and a gray wool hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
