LONG ISLAND CITY — Police released a video of two suspect who shot a man after trying to rob him in Queens Sunday morning.
The suspects approached two men on 43rd Avenue near 21st Street shortly after 6 p.m. and tried to rob the 29-year-old of his gold chain — an attack that was caught on surveillance footage, according to the NYPD.
One of the suspects then pulled out a gun, and shot the 29-year-old in his stomach and thigh, police said.
The injured victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. A second gunshot narrowly missed his 26-year-old companion, who was unharmed, police said.
The suspects are described as men between 19 and 25 years old.
