Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Steinway Street, Police Say

ASTORIA — A man was killed Sunday after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on Steinway Street, according to the NYPD.

Nathaniel Gomez, of Woodside, was riding a motorcycle south on Steinway Street shortly before 6 a.m. when he lost control of the bike near 23rd Avenue, police said.

The 22-year-old was found unconscious in the street with head and body trauma, according to police. He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
