MANHATTAN — Here's an excuse to indulge in La Maison du Chocolat's gourmet confections — they're free for a few hours tonight.
The French chocolatier is offering up free chocolates and pastries in three of its Manhattan storefronts this evening, to celebrate 25 years in New York City.
Rich hot chocolate, macarons and a variety of fudgy, expertly crafted sweets will be served up at its 63 Wall Street shop and its 30 Rockefeller Center location from 7 to 10 p.m.
Its newly renovated 1018 Madison Ave. location will also be serving the gratis treats from 7 to 11 p.m.
The first La Maison du Chocolat opened in Paris in 1977.
