PORT RICHMOND — A man who was part of a large drug-and-gun ring busted in 2013 has been arrested again for drug possession, police said.

Efrain Mack, 37, was arrested on Thursday at about 4:05 a.m. inside his Faber Street home after police executed a search warrant and found crack and cocaine inside his home, prosecutors said.

In addition to the drugs, police also found a scale with crack residue on his kitchen table and $10,668 in cash on top of a radiator and in a hat in his bedroom, prosecutors said.

Mack was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and using drug paraphernalia at his arraignment, according to the Staten Island District Attorney's office.

He was arrested as part of the 2013 takedown of 36 suspected members of a drug and gun ring, dubbed "Operation Mayberry," that trafficked cocaine from Mexico to Staten Island.

Mack pleaded guilty last year and was sentenced to four years in prison, the Staten Island Advance reported. He was released on parole in August, according to the state Department of Corrections.

His bail was has been set at $10,000 for Thursday's arrest and he's due back in court on Tuesday, according to online court records.

Mack's lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
