
LOWER MANHATTAN — Get ready to get ghoulish — in a super cute way.
Downtown has plenty of events to keep your costumed kid or pet in the Halloween spirit.
Here's a round-up of Lower Manhattan Halloween celebrations:
► Washington Market Park Halloween Parade and Party
Where: Greenwich and Beach Streets
When: Oct. 25, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The annual TriBeCa Halloween fest features a parade that's open to all families — just head to the park by 12:45 p.m. to get in line. Along with the costumed march, there are numerous free activities in the park, including a "Bone Dig" in a sandbox and a maze of hay set up in the lawn.
► Brookfield Place Halloween Party
Where: Winter Garden atrium, 200 Vesey St.
When: Oct. 31, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Brookfield's "spooky" celebration includes pumpkin carving demonstrations, along with with hands-on, Halloween-themed science experiments. There will also be live music and storytelling, as well as magic shows, skeleton puppets and a parade for kids. Shops in Brookfield Place including Le District, Hudson Eats and Babesta will also be open for trick-or-treaters.
Where: Pier 26, West Street at N. Moore Street.
When: Oct. 31, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Face painting, cotton candy, rides and magic shows are a few of the ghostly activities awaiting kids at the annual Hudson River Park event.
Little Club Heads Halloween Costume Party
Where: 41 Broad St.
When: Oct. 31, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
If your kids love to dance — and wear costumes — this might be the Halloween party for them. The event includes live DJs (who happen to be nine years old), a costume contest, dance party and other treats. Tickets are $15.
Where: 38 Peck Slip
When: Oct. 30, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Want to parade your pet around in an adorable costume? Sure you do. The Seaport's popular doggy spa hosts this party for pets.
