YORKVILLE — A 30-story condo tower is headed to East 95th Street, with units priced between $2.8 to $20 million, the developer said.
Extell Development Company — the developer behind Midtown's One57 and a controversial luxury tower on the East River waterfront — is building another high rise at 200 E. 95th St. near Second Avenue.
The project, dubbed The Kent, will include 83 units, with sales expected to begin early next year, according to Katherine McPherson, a spokeswoman for Extell.
Demolition at the site began last year and the building is currently under construction. The tower is expected to be completed by fall or winter of 2017, McPherson said.
McPherson declined to provide further details about the project. Architect Beyer Blinder Belle, which is designing the building, did not immediately return requests for comment.
Extell bought the property on January 22, 2013, for $6,181,500, according to city records.
