QUEENS — Police are looking for a man who broke into four different construction sites in Duch Kills this summer and stole thousands of dollars worth of power tools, according to the NYPD

In the first incident on June 24, the suspect — who in each incident wore a tracksuit with reflective stripes down the sides — broke through a wall at a construction site on 38th Avenue and 32nd Street shortly before 6 p.m., police said.

Once inside, he cut open a locked storage box and took $1,600 worth of power tools, police said. The next morning, he broke into the construction site next door by going through a rear window, stealing an air conditioner and a battery worth $7,600, the NYPD said.

On July 10, the suspect hit another site on 29th Street between 39th and 40th avenues, breaking through the front door shortly before 4 a.m., police said. He took power tools and saws worth $2,100, according to police.

His last heist occurred on July 16, when he entered a site on Northern Boulevard and 40th Avenue through a window at about 10:30 p.m. and stole a number of power tools worth $4,150, police said.

The man then got into a car driven by another suspect, and the two fled east on Northern Boulevard, according to the NYPD. Both were captured on surveillance video putting bags into the back of the car.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
