QUEENS — A woman riding a bicycle in Maspeth Wednesday morning was hit and killed by a drugged-up truck triver, police said.
Anna Rodriguez, 34, was riding west on 56th Road, near 48th Street, about 8:45 a.m. when Dennis Forceri, 57, hit her with his truck, an NYPD spokesman said.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital, police said.
Forceri was taken into custody at the scene and later charged with vehicular manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, driving while ability impaired: drugs and aggravated unlicensed operator of a vehicle.
