TRIBECA — Fall is here, but it's still ice-cream season — according to these shoplifters.
Five thieves swiped 226 pints of Häagen-Dazs, along with 24 tubs of Delish brand ice cream, from a TriBeCa Duane Reade last week, police said.
The men quickly shoved the ice cream, worth a total of $1,310, into their backpacks from a freezer, then fled the 305 Broadway store, at about 5 p.m. on Friday, police said.
Information about which flavors the ice cream thieves swiped was not availble.
Duane Reade did not immediately return request for comment.
