QUEENS — Police identified a 28-year-old woman whose body was found with multiple stab wounds Sunday in Kissena Park in Flushing, officials said Tuesday.

Qing Qing Kiemde, of Elmhurst, was discovered at roughly 3 p.m. unconscious and unresponsive in a heavily wooded section of the park, near Colden Street and Laburnum Avenue, police said.

She had slash wounds to the neck, multiple puncture wounds to her chest and a massive slash wound to her stomach. She was pronounced dead at the scene and her death has been ruled a homicide, authorities said.

It appeared that the woman was killed at that location, police sources said.

It also seems that the victim’s stomach was slashed after she was already dead, sources said, and that her initial wounds to the neck and chest caused her death.

Kiemde, who police sources said divorced her husband within the last year, lived with her father in a basement apartment on 45th Avenue, between 78th and 79th streets, and worked in a nearby bakery.

Her father said he last saw his daughter at 9 a.m. Saturday, when he left for work at a local supermarket.

A neighbor, who lived in the same apartment, said through a translator that Kiemde was from Wenzhou in China's Zhejiang province.

He also said that the victim started having some "mental issues" after her divorce. The neighbor, who identified himself only as Liu, said he had never met Kiemde's husband.

It was not immediately clear whether the couple had children. Officials said they were not aware of any domestic violence history between Kiemde and her husband.

The victim's father, Ma Wei Qun, said through a translator that his daughter was attending college when she got married. He said that her husband tricked Kiemde because he used her to get his citizenship and then divorced her.

Kiemde's body was found by a homeless man who then went to a church on Colden Street and reported it. The church called 911 and the homeless man led police officers to the place where he had found the body, officials said.

There had been no arrests in the case as of Tuesday morning, police said.

The Medical Examiner's office did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
