UPPER WEST SIDE — A woman had her purse stolen after leaving it on the floor of a Lincoln Square movie theater while watching a film, the NYPD said.

The 48-year-old victim was sitting in the back row of the AMC Loews Theater at 1998 Broadway and left her purse by her feet while she watched the movie on October 3, police said.

When she was getting up to leave two-and-a-half hours later, at 6 p.m., the purse was gone, she told police. The bag contained credit cards, $100 in cash and her iPhone, police added.

Police did not have a description of a suspect, they said.

The movie theater declined to comment.
