FORDHAM — A Bronx woman was allegedly shot in the head by her husband inside an SUV Sunday morning, police said.
Officers found Jennifer Ortiz, 27, in the passenger seat of an SUV outside 2525 Morris Ave. about 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, according to the NYPD.
EMS pronounced Ortiz dead at the scene.
Police have named Ortiz's husband Amauri Perdomo, 31, as a suspect.
Perdomo, who is about 6 foot tall and weighs roughly 230 pounds, was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon in 2009, police said.
