SOHO — Three shoplifters grabbed more than $1,700 worth of makeup and facial moisturizer from a SoHo Duane Reade, police said.
The three men, 48-year-old Robert Veazy, Earnest Brownlee, 53, and Lawrence Valrie, 53, stole about 80 cosmetics, worth a total of $1,759.77, by stuffing the items into bags, according to a police report and their criminal complaint from the Manhattan DA's office.
Police said there was video surveillance of the men quickly taking the products, which included several bottles of Oil of Olay brand moisturizer, from the 459 Broadway Duane Reade at about 9:40 p.m. on Saturday.
The trio were each charged with grand larceny, according to their complaint.
They are due back in court on Oct. 2.
Calls to their court-appointed lawyers were not immediately returned.
