WILLIAMSBURG — L Train Vintage is opening a new shop in Williamsburg featuring rarer pieces from designers like Chanel and Ralph Lauren.

The 16-year-old vintage and resale shop, which has six locations across the city, plans to debut a new store at 629 Grand St. next month, according to manager Astrid Perez.

The store will be smaller than most of the shop's other outposts, which include warehouse-sized spaces like its Urban Jungle shop in Bushwick at 118 Knickerbocker Ave.

As a result, the offerings at the Grand Street shop will be more selective, Perez said.

"It's going to be a little more rare, hard-to-find pieces," she said.

The Williamsburg shop will be most similar to L Train Vintage's East Village location, No Relation Vintage, at 204 First Ave., Perez said.

The retailer is known for its large selection of affordable vintage clothing.

After opening in Williamsburg in 1999, the family business has since closed all its locations in the neighborhood, according to its website.

In addition to Urban Jungle and No Relation Vintage, the store has outposts in Park Slope, Gowanus and a another in Bushwick.
