FORDHAM — Two men sexually assaulted a Fordham University student near campus on Saturday night, according to university and police officials.
The student, a 19-year-old woman, was walking home from the college by an alley at East Fordham Road when two men in their 20s crept up on her from behind, according to the NYPD.
One of the men grabbed her hands and held them behind her back while the other began groping her breasts and butt, but they both took off after being startled by a group of people walking by, police said.
There have been no arrests yet in the assault, but Fordham's Department of Public Safety and the NYPD's Special Victims Unit are working together on the investigation, according to the university.
