EAST HARLEM — Two men, including one employee, were assaulted at bodegas near 125th Street and Lexington Avenue early Friday morning.

The first assault happened at 2027 Lexington Ave. about 2:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.

An unidentified man walked into the bodega and hit a 52-year-old man in the back of the head with a baseball bat. After the assault, the man with the bat told his victim, "This is what you get," police said.

An employee at the bodega, where police found 20 bags of synthetic marijuana in July, declined to talk about the assault.

The second assault happened about 6:30 a.m. at another bodega on 254 East 125th St.

When an employee asked a customer to leave, the customer took off his belt and said, "Come move me yourself," according to the NYPD.

The man then hit the 40-year-old employee in the head with his belt.

No arrests have been made in either assault. Information regarding the condition of each victim was not immediately available.
