HARLEM — A livery cab driver who picked up three people on 140th Street and Lenox Avenue was robbed at gunpoint last week.

The 25-year-old driver picked up two men and one woman about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to the NYPD.

He dropped the woman off at 126th Street and Fifth Avenue. The two men asked to be taken to East 122nd Street between Park and Lexington avenues.

When they arrived at their destination one of the men said he needed to get cash from his apartment in order to pay the fare. When he returned he showed the driver a silver handgun and said, "Give me everything you've got," police said.

The driver handed over his iPhone, headphones, and $7. As soon as the second male passenger left the car he sped off.

Police are searching for the armed robber.
