UPPER EAST SIDE — Eleven teenagers flooded into a Third Avenue Nike Running store on Wednesday and snatched $5,800 worth of merchandise from shelves and fled, police said.
The teens, ranging in ages from 15 to 19 years old, entered the 1131 Third Ave. store at roughly 11:30 a.m. and took off with a hoard of Nike products, including Nike Camo Tech Fleece pants and other clothing.
Police said there were no injuries and the incident is still being investigated.
Nike declined to comment.
