WEST VILLAGE — Four teens held what appeared to be a gun to a cabbie's head and stole his cellphone and cash from his wallet earlier this month, police said.

Police said the teens got into the yellow cab at Christopher Street and Seventh Avenue about 4:10 a.m. on Sept. 2, police said. When the cabbie asked for their destination to put into his phone's GPS, one of teens, 19, snatched the phone from his hand, according to the NYPD.

Police said the 19-year-old held what appeared to be a gun to the 31-year-old driver's right temple and said, "Don't move. Pull over."

The cabbie complied, and the teen in the passenger seat then patted down the his pockets, found his wallet and took out cash, police said.

All four passengers fled, but the cabbie canvassed the area and found one of them, police said. He convinced the teen to get his phone back from the 19-year-old in exchange for cash, police said.

The cabbie called 911 once he got his phone back, police said, and responding officers found three of the four teens, not including the 19-year-old.

The 19-year-old is described as a male wearing a wig who goes by the nickname Diamond, police said.

The three other teens were charged with robbery, according to court records. Prosecutors requested they be held on $75,000 bail, but a judge set bail for two of them at $10,000 cash or bond, and the third at $10,000 cash or $15,000 bond.

The third, a 18-year-old, is still being held at a womens facility on Rikers Island, records showed. Her attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The other two were identified as female in police and court records, but were held in a men's facility at Rikers based on their biological gender. One was released on bail on Sept. 8, and the other is still in custody, according to Department of Correction records.

One of the suspect's attorneys declined to comment, while the other's did not return a request for comment.

All three are due back in court on Oct. 6.
