UPPER WEST SIDE — A man stole more than $4,000 from a Capital One bank branch Monday morning, police said.

The suspect passed a note to a teller at the bank at 2379 Broadway and West 87th Street roughly 9:46 a.m. Monday demanding cash, the NYPD said.

The teller handed him $4,019 and the suspect then fled northbound on Broadway, police said.

He is described as between 25 and 35 years old with a medium build, standing between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11, and weighing between 170 and 190 pounds, police said.

Surveillance footage shows him wearing a black hat with white writing, dark sunglasses, a gray Nike shirt, a dark backpack, dark pants and sneakers.
