BATTERY PARK CITY — A quick stop at a Pick A Bagel cost an Irish tourist nearly $2,000, police said.

The 41-year-old woman said she placed her bag — which contained $1,690 worth of electronics and other personal items, including her $600 Panasonic video camera — on the floor next to her at the 311 South End Ave. shop, according to a police report.

She spent about five minutes writing in her notebook, then went to grab her bag. But when she looked down, at 9:45 a.m., she realized it was missing, police said.
