TRIBECA — Upscale, seafood-focused restaurant Wayfarer is launching a new location on Greenwich Street.

The Midtown eatery, which serves up modern American food, with a focus on seafood and seasonal ingredients, is opening a TriBeCa restaurant at 349 Greenwich St.

The Wayfarer takes the place of former pizzeria and restaurant Dean's, which shuttered last year.

The restaurant won unanimous support for its liquor license at a recent Community Board 1 meeting. It plans to stay open until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and until midnight Sunday through Thursday.

An owner of the restaurant said the eatery is aiming to open in January.
