THE BRONX — A pair of men was shot on a Claremont street early Wednesday morning, police said.
The men, 22 and 27, were shot near East 170th Street and Park Avenue at about 1:25 a.m., an NYPD spokesman said.
The 22-year-old was hit in the torso and treated at Lincoln Medical Center for injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
The other man was hit in the shoulder and treated at St. Barnabas Hospital, officials said. His injuries were also not considered life-threatening, officials said.
Their names were not immediately released.
There were no immediate arrests, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear, police said.
