WINDSOR TERRACE — A 20-year-old-woman was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night by a man who followed her as she was walking home in a quiet section of Windsor Terrace, police said.

The robbery happened at 11:10 p.m. near 19th and Seeley streets, police said.

The victim first spotted the robber as she was walking southbound on 17th Street a few minutes before the incident. The robber trailed her, then flashed a silver gun and demanded money near 19th and Seeley, police said.

The robber snatched the victim's iPhone and wallet, which contained $50 in cash and a MetroCard, then ran away.

No arrests had been made as of Monday evening, police said.

A local resident who saw the aftermath of the robbery said the victim was visibly shaken.

"This woman was clearly traumatized," said Charles Henderson, who was sitting outside at 19th Street and 10th Avenue during the robbery and saw more than a dozen police officers respond.

The 72nd Precinct said on Twitter Monday that the robbery had been assigned to a special task force.
