SOUNDVIEW — Two men were arrested for a weekend attack that left one man dead and two others injured, police said.

Andrixs Suarez, 23, and Wander Rosario, 26, attacked 30-year-old Jose Lucero, another 30-year-old unidentified man and an unidentified 36-year-old woman on Aug. 30 just before 9 p.m. in front of 1149 Stratford Ave, according to the NYPD,

Suarez and Rosario threw punches and kicked the woman in her left leg before being arrested at the scene, police said.

It was not clear what started the dispute.

About two hours later, around 10:45 p.m., police got a call that Lucero, who lives on Stratford Avenue, was having trouble breathing.

He lost consciousness while waiting for EMS workers and was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Suarez was charged with manslaughter and assault, while Rosario was hit with assault and harassment charges, police said.

Both were expected to be arraigned Monday night, according to the Bronx District Attorney's Office.
