GREENWICH VILLAGE — A woman was pepper-sprayed by another woman she was fighting with at Falucka Lounge on Bleecker Street, police said.

The two women — a 21-year-old and a 19-year-old — were arguing inside the hookah lounge at 162 Bleecker St. about 2:15 a.m. on Aug. 19, when the 21-year-old whipped out pepper spray and blasted the 19-year-old in the face, police said.

She received medical treatment from an EMT who responded to the scene, police said. The pepper spray also got in the eyes of another woman, police said.

The arresting officer recovered the pepper spray at the scene, police said.

According to the criminal complaint against her, the 21-year-old asked the officer, "Am I being charged with assault because you found my mace?"

She was hit with various misdemeanor assault charges, as well as a violation for harassment, police said.

A judge issued a temporary order of protection against the woman, and let her go free without bail. Her lawyer declined to comment, and she is due back in court on Oct. 15.

Falucka did not respond to messages left asking for comment.
