LOWER EAST SIDE — Two women reported sexual attacks that occurred as they walked through the neighborhood over the weekend, police said.

In the first incident, which took place at 1:03 a.m. on Aug. 16, the suspect approached a 22-year-old woman from behind at 275 South St. and then grabbed her by the neck and placed his hand under her dress.

The suspect fled after the victim turned around and called 911, according to the NYPD. She refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

The suspect was described as standing 5-foot-4, weighing 160 pounds with black eyes and black short and spiky hair, police said.

Later that day, another woman was groped in front of 28 Allen St. while she was walking northbound, police said. The suspect attempted to pick her up and throw her onto the floor, police said, and scratched the woman, cutting her.

The individual fled southbound on Allen Street before heading west on Canal Street, according to the NYPD. A description of the suspect was not available.

The woman refused medical attention, police said.
