BROOKLYN — Three firefighters were injured in large fire at a Williamsburg gas station Thursday morning, FDNY officials said.
About 148 firefighters battled the blaze which started at 392 Leonard St., near Richardson Street, about 2:21 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

Firefighters had to fight the fire from the outside because the building was unstable, a spokesman said.
They brought it under control about 4:54 a.m., officials said.
Three firefighters were treated for minor injuries at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, officials said.
Fire marshals were investigating what sparked the flames, officials said.
