BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — More Mexican flavors are coming to Halsey Street, as Oaxaca Taquiera opens its latest post in eastern Bed-Stuy.

The chain is set to debut its 10th location next week at 478 Halsey St., according to owner David Schneider.

Oaxaca is known for its tacos, which include seared adobo shrimp, braised pork shoulder, and roasted potato and poblano peppers.

The Brooklyn-based operation already has a Bed-Stuy location near the border of Clinton Hill.

“We feel like expanding in areas that are underserved work for both us and the neighborhood,” Schneider said.

“In Brooklyn we become part of the neighborhood very quickly, whereas in Manhattan you’re competing with dozens of other spots.”

Oaxaca also serves up its locally-sourced fare from spots in the West Village, Hell's Kitchen, Park Slope, and Murray Hill, among others.

The latest Brooklyn restaurant will hire from the neighborhood, the owner said, and customers can look forward to the addition of breakfast tacos and burritos.

The Halsey Street location joins another Mexican restaurant, Tepache, which opened down the block earlier this summer.

Other locations planned for Brooklyn include 406 Rogers Ave. in Crown Heights.
