MANHATTAN — A dozen people were injured, one seriously, after a tour bus struck a tollbooth on the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge Friday afternoon, officials said.

The bus was heading toward Queens when it crashed at the toll plaza near the Randall’s Island exit a little before 2 p.m., officials said.

One person was in serious but stable condition, and 11 other people suffered minor injuries, according to the FDNY. It was immediately clear how many of those injured were on the bus.

Officials recommended drivers heading into Queens find other routes.
