MARINERS HARBOR — A dealer nicknamed "Merlin" was charged after she was arrested Tuesday for selling drugs to a man called "Silver Fox," prosecutors said.

Michelle Montuori, 27, who goes by the nickname "Merlin," was arrested after she sold Suboxone, a medication to help treat opioid addiction, to Gerald "Silver Fox" Anzalone, 50, officials said.

On Tuesday, police spotted Anzalone buying the prescription drug from Montuori in front of her Arlington Avenue home at about 4:40 p.m., prosecutors said.

Both were arrested and police found 16 Suboxone strips on Montuori.

Montuori was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance at her Wednesday arraignment, the Staten Island District Attorney's office said.

She was released without bail and is due back in court on Friday.

Her lawyer could not be reached for comment.

Anzalone was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and issued a desk appearance ticket, which is issued by the NYPD and requires him to appear in court at later date, the DA said.
