$1,800 Bike Stolen on Amsterdam Avenue, Police Say

UPPER WEST SIDE — A man who locked his bike to a post on Amsterdam Avenue had it stolen last month, police said. 

The 48-year-old victim chained his $1,800 Cannondale bike to the post near West 76th Street at 3 p.m. on July 22, police said. 

When the man returned at 6 p.m., the bike was gone, police said.
