Man Gropes Woman at 96th Street Subway Station

UPPER WEST SIDE — A man grabbed a teen's butt while she was waiting for a train inside the 96th Street subway station, police said. 

The 18-year-old victim was waiting on the uptown platform inside the station when the suspect walked up behind her and grabbed her at 5:27 p.m. on July 25, police said. 

The man then boarded a northbound 1 train, police said.

The suspect is described as approximately 28 years old, standing 5-foot-7 and weighing 140 pounds, police said. He had long dreadlocks tied in a bun and was wearing a black tank top, camouflage shorts, black sneakers and black sunglasses, police added.
