QUEENS — A kitchen fire erupted at Xhale Hookah Lounge in Forest Hills early Tuesday morning, officials said.

Flames broke out at the venue, located on the first floor of a retail complex at 70-09 Austin St., near 70th Avenue, at 3:12 a.m., according to the FDNY.

About 60 firefighters had the fire under control at about 3:34 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

No injuries were reported, officials said.

Representatives for Xhale were not immediately available for comment.

The owner of a sushi restaurant, which is located directly beneath Xhale said that firefighters forced their way into his eatery in an effort to extinguish the fire.

The Fire Department said it was not immediately clear what sparked the flames.
