HARLEM — Police released a video of a red sedan they say struck a bicyclist and sent him to the hospital Wednesday night.

The 57-year-old victim, who was hit near 145th Street and Lenox Avenue about 9:48 p.m., remains in critical condition at Harlem Hospital, police said Tuesday.

Officers believe the cyclist was stopped in the middle of the roadway attempting to cross 145th Street from north to south when he was hit by a red vehicle traveling west.

The man bounced off the hood of the car and fell to the pavement. The bicycle crashed into the windshield of a 2006 Honda Odyssey traveling on the eastbound lane, police said.

The Honda remained at the scene, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

No arrests have been made.

The cyclist, who was hit on 145th Street, was taken to Harlem Hospital, police said.
