LOWER EAST SIDE — A teenager raped a woman in East River Park earlier this week, police said.

A 41-year-old woman was walking in the park around 12:45 a.m. on July 28, when a 17-year-old boy approached her, grabbed and brought her to the ground before raping her, according to the NYPD.

The teenager ran away when he caught sight of another person passing by, but took the victim’s LG 3 cellphone before he fled westbound out of the park, police said. The woman was taken to Beth Israel Hospital, according to the NYPD.

Police said the man was 5-foot-10.
