BUSHWICK — Calling all who peddle feline wares: Meow Day is seeking vendors for its next gathering, a one-day market and party dedicated to all things cat.

The event, which also serves as a fundraiser for A Tail of Two Kitties — a rescue and trap-neuter-return organization based in Bushwick and Ridgewood — will be held Sunday, Oct. 11 at Silent Barn, 603 Bushwick Ave.

The rescue takes donations at the event, and proceeds from some vendor sales go toward the organization as well.

More than 500 people attended May's Meow Day, which featured cats who needed to be adopted, kitty temporary tattoos, kitty-themed drinks and a market filled with kitty-themed wares.

Goods for sale at previous Meow Day events have included coloring books and clothes from the artist behind Neon Bodega Cats, cat bow ties from Business Catual, pins from Etsy shop Jaxxis Buttons and monthly cat goods subscription KitNipBox.
