THE BRONX — A 16-year-old was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted murder and assault, four days after he shot another teen who is two years younger than him during a gang dispute in Longwood, police and court documents said.
Sagonie Urdaz had been embroiled in a previous dispute when he pulled a gun and shot David Guzman, a 14-year-old rival, in his left shoulder around 9:44 p.m. on Friday outside 985 Simpson St., near Hunts Point Avenue, according to an NYPD spokesman and the criminal complaint.
Guzman was treated at Lincoln Medical Center and released, police said.
Urdaz also shot at Bryan Perel, whose age is not known, and grazed his right foot, according to the criminal complaint.
Urdaz, who lives in the neighborhood, was arrested Tuesday on an assault charge, police said.
Police arrested Urdaz once before, but an NYPD spokesman said that record was sealed.
He is due back in court on July 31, according to the Bronx District Attorney's Office.
