EAST WILLIAMSBURG — A man was shot in the leg on the way to his grandmother's house in East Williamsburg, police said.
The victim, 31, said he was on his way to his grandmother's home on Bushwick Avenue near Boerum Street, which is in the Borinquen Plaza houses, on Thursday, July 23 around 12:20 a.m. to pick up his sister, police said.
He heard two shots and then felt pain in his left leg, police said.
He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.
Police are investigating the incident.
