THE BRONX — Two men were found dead Thursday in a High Bridge apartment in what police are investigating as a double homicide.
George Benitez, 67, was found in his bedroom at 1555 Grand Concourse, near Rockwood Street, with severe torso wounds when investigators arrived about 4 p.m., NYPD officials said.
The second victim, whom police had not identified as of Friday morning, lay in the apartment's hallway with wounds to his back and neck, police said.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The relationship between the two men was not immediately clear, an NYPD spokesman said.
There were no immediate arrests, police said.
