CHELSEA — Momofuku is coming to 21st Street and Eighth Avenue.

David Chang's business partner Andrew Salmon filed for a liquor license for a new Momofuku restaurant at 232 Eighth Ave., according to a liquor license application filed with Community Board 4.

The Momofuku empire includes a noodle bar, ssäm bar, high-end ko and the Milk Bar bakeries.

The new restaurant will have six tables with 68 seats and a seven-person bar, according to its application. It will be open until 11 p.m. on weekdays and 1 a.m. on weekend nights.

The eatery is considering adding a sidewalk cafe at a later date, according to the application.

Neither Salmon nor Chang immediately responded to a request for comment.
