QUEENS — A hit-and-run driver intentionally struck another man in Forest Hills Sunday, leaving him critically injured, police said.

The incident took place about 11 p.m. in front of 110-20 71st Ave., between 110th and 112th streets, according to the NYPD.

Police said that two independent witnesses saw the victim, 41, involved in a verbal dispute with the driver of a passing car.

The men were possibly fighting over a parking spot, sources said.

Sources also said that at some point the victim got out of a white van to confront the other man who pulled alongside in his dark colored sedan, possibly a black Dodge Magnum.

The men began arguing and the driver of the dark sedan also got out of his car.

He then got back behind the wheel, reversed and sped forward, striking the man, police said.

The driver then fled on 71st Avenue towards 112th Street, police said.

The witnesses described his car as a black Dodge Magnum with dark tinted windows, but they did not see its license plate number.

One of the witnesses also described the driver as a “large muscular” man, police said.

The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital with severe head trauma and is listed in critical condition, police said.

No arrests had been made as of Monday morning, authorities said.
