HELL'S KITCHEN — Gay Men's Health Crisis's 25th annual Latex Ball is about to drop at Terminal 5.

This year's ball, which kicks off on Saturday, July 25, will follow the theme the "Year of the Legends." Competitors will vie for cash prizes and trophies on the runway by dancing, walking and performing. The party begins at 8 p.m. and ends at 4 a.m.  Tickets cost $15 and are available online.

The Latex Ball started in 1989 when members of the House and Ball community partnered with GMHC to improve HIV/AIDS services. Members participate in fashion-forward runway competitions, and create much-copied trends such as vogueing.

Performers at this year's ball include Brenda Milan, Roxxy, J'sun, Lady Jasmin, and Money Ebony and the Vogue Lounge All-Stars.
